About

Myself

My name is Haozhe Zhang, but please feel free to call me Jason. I hold a bachelor degree in petroleum engineering with a minor in geology at the Univerisity of Kansas and I am a second year master student majoring in geophysics at K.U. as well. My current study is to use geophysical approaches to investigate the dynamic evolution of petrophysical properties in porous media during mineral precipitation. This study will advance our understanding in how geological variablity established through petrophysical evolution.

My Interests

Things that I passionate about....

Research Study

I have my research interests in pore-scale evolution of petrophysical properties and subsurface spatial-temporal modeling to improve geological predictions.

Options Trading

Stock options are a form of derivative of stocks. It is volatile and requires one to be able to perform multivariate analysis before making investing decisions.

Enjoying Life

In my spare time, I enjoy working-out, fishing, kayaking, traveling with my loved ones. I also enjoy hanging out with my dog 'Mini' and my cat 'Goku'.
